What is required to schedule my session?
At the time of booking, you will be sent a questionnaire, contract and invoice. You must complete the questionnaire, sign the contract and pay your invoice in order to reserve your date/time. All three can be completed online. The invoice is for the session fee only. You will select and pay for your package after you receive your online gallery.
I am not photogenic and feel awkward in front of the camera, can I still get great photos?
ABSOLUTELY!! I will walk you through poses with detailed instructions. I aim to make all of my sessions fun and stress free. Many images will be captured without even needing posing. These candid moments are often the best photos.
What are your favorite locations for photo sessions?
The Syracuse area has so many beautiful locations. My favorites are Franklin Square Park, Clay Historic Park, VanBuren Park, and Marcellus Park. I am always open to new locations so feel free to make a request.
How long will it take to get my gallery?
Standard sessions have a turn around time of about 3 weeks.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You are welcome to download and print anywhere you prefer, a print release is included with every package that contains digital images. However, I always encourage my clients to print right from the gallery. The quality of the prints is far superior than the "big box" printers (Walmart, Walgreens, Shutterfly, etc.). In addition, my monitor is calibrated to the printers at the professional lab I use. Therefore, there will not be a variance in brightness or color. It will print exactly how I have edited it on my screen. When you print from the gallery, your order will come to me for approval before going to the printer. This allows me to verify that any of the sizes you ordered do not affect the crop or cut out important areas of your image. I can fix this and any other issues before it goes to print.
